The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation has approved the conduct of an Essay Competition for Civil Servants as part of the activities to mark the 2024 Civil Service Week.
2. The Essay Competition will be in line with the topic for this year’s Public Service Lecture “Education Fit for the 21st Century: Preparing Nigerian Public Servants to Address Global Challenges while fostering Employee Engagement, Retention and Job satisfaction.”
3. To be eligible for participation, applicants must be:
i. Serving Officers in the mainstream Federal Civil Service
ii. Officers whose appointment has been confirmed
iii. Officers who are computer literate
4. Officers are to apply under the following categories:
i. Category A: SGL. 13 – 15
ii. Category B: SGL. 07 – 12
5. In view of the above, you are requested to kindly inform and encourage your
officers to register for the Essay Competition using the following link
