JAMB Releases 2024 UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results. This announcement comes after the successful completion of the examination, which took place from April 19 to April 29, 2024. Out of the 1.94 million candidates who registered and sat for the examination, 8,401 scored above 300.

Checking 2024 JAMB Results via Website

To check your JAMB result via the website, follow these steps:

  1. Visit JAMB eFacility Portal: Open a web browser on your computer or mobile device and navigate to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login.  This is the official website of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
  2. Enter Login Details: On the website, you will be required to provide your email address and password used during your JAMB registration. Make sure to enter the correct details to avoid any errors.
  3. Access Your Results: Once you have entered your login details, click on the “Check UTME Results” button. Your UTME score for each subject taken will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Print Your Result: You can print your result by clicking on the “Print Result” button. Make sure to save a copy of your result, as you will need it for future reference.

Checking JAMB Results 2024 via SMS

To check your JAMB result via SMS, follow these steps:

  1. Open Messaging App: Launch your text message application on your mobile phone.
  2. Compose a new message: Type “RESULT” (all caps) followed by your JAMB Registration Number. For example, “RESULT 12345678”.
  3. Send SMS: Send the message to either 55019 or 66019, the official JAMB result SMS numbers.
  4. Receive Your Results: JAMB will send a reply SMS containing your UTME scores for each subject taken. Note that this method incurs an N50 charge, which will be deducted from your mobile phone airtime.

Important Notes

  • Make sure to have a minimum airtime balance of N50 to use the SMS method.
  • The SMS method may not be available for all mobile networks.
  • The JAMB result website may experience high traffic, so be patient and try again if you encounter any errors.
  • Your JAMB result is an important document, so make sure to save a copy and keep it safe.
